Message from the DBI Director:
Luke 10:2, “The harvest truly is great but the laborers are few; therefore pray the Lord of the harvest to send out laborers into His harvest.” We are living in a time where there is a definite need for more workers in God’s Kingdom and equipping them for service. Some of us need to get a stronger biblical foundation, whilr others need to sharpen their skills to prepare for ministry.
Decatur Bible Institute is the perfect solution. DBI instructors will train and teach in a formal setting by offering Bible classes, Systematic Theology, preaching classes, and other classes that Life Pacific Bible College offers in California. We also want to bring in a track of classes with a more practical application, and on learning.
It is my desire to see leaders raised up to assist the leadership in their own churches, as well as men and women raised up to become pastors and teachers. It is the goal of DBI to eventually add classes in youth ministry, children’s ministry, pastoral ministry, worship and missions. There is a great need for training and development in the Body of Christ and Decatur Bible Institute is an established school to help get the job done.
It has been said, “A tool is only as effective as it is skillfully applied.” Come sharpen your tools with us and then get to work in the fields, for they are white unto harvest!

Levels of Participation
Decatur Bible Institute offers enrollment at two levels:
Leadership Development - those sensing a call to vocational ministries who desire to begin their training and seek further clarification are invited to enroll as Leadership Development students. Enrollment here affords both classroom instruction and personal direction from the President, Director, and faculty. It also allows for participation in future classes and seminars that will be offered only to Leadership Development students. The Leadership Development program is approximately a two-year program.
Personal Enrichment - students registered on this track take our Core Curriculum classes as “Adult Students.” It provides a great opportunity to further your understanding of the Bible at a level of committed discipleship.
